Black Players Just Demanded the NFL Make November a Protest Month after Making Loud-mouthed Accusation

Four black NFL players are trying to have the NFL make the month of November into an “activism awareness month” in order to protest police in America. 10-page memo is sent to the association with their demand, endorsed by Seattle Seahawks’ Michael Bennett, former NFL player Anquan Boldin, Philadelphia Eagles’ Malcolm Jenkins and Eagles’ Torrey Smith.

Bennet sat during the anthem every game this season and lately he’s been raising his fist in a black power symbol to object policing of black people in the U.S.

This memo also faults the police for the firing and death of Trayvon Martin. The only problem here is that Martin was not shot by police. He was shot by a community watch volunteer, George Zimmerman.

The memo reads;

“Since 2016, police have shot over 300 men and women in this country. Some of the names and stories are familiar—Jordan Edwards, Trayvon Martin, Alton Sterling, but hundreds of others are not.”

Alton Sterling was shot by police while trying to pull his gun during a struggle with officers. The officer who shot Jordan Edwards was fired and charged.

Furthermore the memo continues;

“To be clear, we are asking for your support”. “We appreciate your acknowledgement on the call regarding the clear distinction between support and permission. For us, support means: bear all or part of the weight of; hold up; give assistance to, especially financially; enable to function or act”.

“We need support, collaboration and partnerships to achieve our goal of strengthening the community. There are a variety of ways for you to get involved. Similar to the model we have in place for players to get involved, there are three tiers of engagement based on your comfort level.

“To start, we appreciate your agreement on making this an immediate priority. In your words, from Protest to Progress, we need action.”

Well, people what do you make of all this? Isn’t this only another chapter in the expiration of the NFL by repeated allegations of racism contrary to the police?

  1. These porch monkeys are always bitching and whining 12 months out of the year anyway. They want to be criminals who get away with their crimes without any semblance of law and order.
